The short version
- We're covered. Section 331 is under the roof, so showers won't reach us. The walk in isn't covered.
- Phones out at the gate. Tickets are mobile-only in the Seahawks app, and screenshots don't scan.
- Clear bags only, or no bag at all, which is fastest.
- It's cashless. Card or phone pay everywhere inside.
- Dress warm. Low 50s and damp after dark. Bring a warm layer and a hooded rain jacket.
- Gate 5 or 6 on the west side is closest to our section.
Gates (3:30) and kickoff (5:20) are official. Times marked ~ are suggestions.
Cool, gray and covered
Low 50s, almost no wind and on-and-off light showers. The best chance of rain lands right around kickoff, and we're under the roof for all of it.
Section 331, Row MM
- The view: we look east across the whole field from high up, with the south end zone to our right and the downtown skyline through the open north end to our left.
- Finding it: enter at Gate 5 or 6, then take the southwest ramp up to the 300 level. It comes out near sections 327–329, a short walk to 331.
- The climb: the section entrance is near the bottom, so it's about 30 rows of steep stairs up to MM, the second-to-last row. Take it slow with drinks.
- Restrooms: right behind 331 (women's) and 333 (men's).
- Bring binoculars if you have them. They're allowed, but their cases aren't, so leave the case in the car.
What's happening
Where to eat
Before we head in
Elysian Fields THE PICK
The classic pregame brewpub. Get the giant beer-cheese pretzel. Expect a crowd, so the first ones there should grab a table.
The Hall on Occidental
Beer hall right across the street. The move if Elysian is packed.
Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar
A calmer sit-down: oysters, geoduck chowder, fish and chips. Walk-ins only.
Near our seats
Cocktails can go back to your seat. Max two drinks per purchase. Alcohol sales end after the third quarter.

Storylines
- Walker comes home. The back who helped Seattle win its title now leads the NFL in rushing for Kansas City.
- Something has to give. The league's top rusher meets a defense that hasn't let anyone reach 100 yards in 35 straight games.
- Mahomes in Seattle. Only his second regular-season game here. He lost the first, 38-31, in December 2018.
- Seattle needs this one after a 32-29 loss to the 49ers and an overtime loss at Denver.

Keys to the game
Bottle up Walker
Keep the 35-game streak without a 100-yard rusher alive.
Protect Sam Darnold
He was sacked five times in the overtime loss at Denver.
Feed JSN
The NFL's top receiver faces a secondary that may be missing CB L'Jarius Sneed.
You'll hear it all day, from Pioneer Square to the upper deck: one side yells SEA! and everyone answers HAWKS! Back and forth, louder every time. Our job tonight: answer louder.
The record has lived in Kansas City since 2014. Let's make them hear us anyway. (Bars start at 100 dB.)
Drive, ride or get dropped off
However you're coming in, here's what we found. Leave extra time: expect delays downtown and in SODO, and crowded buses before and after the game.
Driving
- The stadium's own garage and lots are for season-pass holders only tonight, so book a private garage on SpotHero ahead of time.
- Closest: 505 First (93 Railroad Way S), a 6-minute walk, about $77. Events Only Garage (76 S King St), 8 minutes, about $88. King Street Station Garage, 9 minutes, about $77 (entry from 3:20 PM).
- Cheaper: Union Station Garage (about $66) and 152 Yesler Way (about $55), 11–12 minutes away. Downtown garages like Millennium Tower (111 Columbia St) run about $28–33 with a 15-minute walk.
Link light rail
- Get off at Stadium (1 Line) or International District/Chinatown (1 and 2 Lines). Both are a short walk.
- The 2 Line has crossed I-90 from the Eastside since March, and South Bellevue and Mercer Island have park-and-rides.
- North end park-and-rides to Stadium: Northgate 24 min, Shoreline South/148th 29, Shoreline North/185th 32, Mountlake Terrace 35. Weekend parking is free.
- Trains through downtown come every 5–6 minutes until about 10:15 PM. No Sounder game trains tonight.
Rideshare and drop-off
- The Seahawks recommend rideshare for pickup after the game. Walk a few blocks away from the stadium first to beat the crowd and the surge pricing.
- Getting dropped off? The passenger drop-off zone is off S Charles St and is open until kickoff. Tell the officers you're dropping someone off.
Parking prices are Saturday's SpotHero totals with fees. A few garages were down to their last spots.
